The Framery One Work is designed around a simple idea: a private office shouldn’t belong to one person, it should belong to whoever has the hardest work that day. Four One Work pods fit into the same 10 m² footprint as a single standard private office, each one occupying just 2.5 m². For Australian offices juggling activity-based layouts and shrinking floor plans, that’s a meaningful shift in how much focused, private space a business can actually offer.
The pod stands 233 cm on the outside with a 209.7 cm interior ceiling, and the doorway is 96.6 cm wide with a step-free 1.25 cm threshold, so it’s wheelchair accessible without compromise. Glass walls keep it feeling like part of the office rather than a box dropped into it. As Framery’s Chief Design Officer Joonas Vartola puts it, “a small room feels small when you run into its limits… glass isn’t one, so the pod borrows the space around it.”
Acoustics that actually hold up
One Work carries a Class A speech reduction rating under ISO 23351-1, cutting speech by 30 dB. In practice, a normal conversation inside sounds like a whisper from outside, which matters as much for the people working nearby as for whoever’s inside taking a call.
Smart enough to manage itself
This is where The Framery One Work moves past a simple booth. A radar sensor activates as soon as someone walks in, automatically tuning ventilation and lighting rather than leaving that to the user. The pod replaces its full air volume every minute, moving up to 53 l/s, with both direct and indirect airflow options to manage temperature and humidity. Framery’s Product Director Henrik Ashorn notes that “in a shared space, setting up is usually the first interruption. In The Framery One Work, the setup is one cable.” That’s not an exaggeration: the adjustable desk (68 to 118 cm, electronic) supports dual monitors through a single USB-C connection, with preset lighting for work and video call modes built in.
Because the pod is shared rather than assigned, Framery’s reservation system tracks who’s in it and for how long, and that same anonymised occupancy data feeds back into broader workplace analytics. It’s the kind of visibility that helps a facilities team understand real usage, not just booking calendar guesses.
Built to last, not just to lease
The Framery One Work is fully modular, with replaceable components and a design intended to last decades rather than the length of a single office lease. An Environmental Product Declaration will be available at launch, giving Australian businesses with sustainability targets a clear basis for reporting. As Vartola puts it, “Framery pods are built for heavy use… we need workspace assets to last for decades, not just the length of a lease.”

The Framery One Work makes its global debut at Orgatec 2026 in Cologne, with worldwide ordering opening on 27 October 2026 and shipping beginning 1 March 2027.
