Introducing the Framery One Lounge, now exclusive to Envoy in Australia
There’s a new addition to the Envoy Showroom in Rosebery, and it’s a first for the country. Our team has just completed the build of the Framery One Lounge, the very first unit of its kind in Australia, and it’s exclusive to Envoy.
We filmed the whole process, and you can watch it below.
Why the One Lounge
Framery has built a global reputation on acoustic pods that let people focus, take calls, or step away from open-plan noise without leaving the office. The One Lounge takes that idea and adds a more relaxed, social dimension. Instead of the standard height-adjustable chair and desk setup, it swaps in a custom-built sofa, a padded footstool and a fixed-height table. Framery describes it as designed for extended comfort and focus, built for calls, concentrated work, or simply a moment to pause and reset during the day.
Bringing the first unit into Australia, and making it exclusive to Envoy, means our showroom is now the only place in the country where people can see and experience this pod in person before it goes into workplaces around Australia.
The Build
Two of our team members, Nev and Alan, took on the assembly. From the moment the pod was delivered to the moment it was fully built and ready to use, the whole process took just 1.5 hours.
For a piece of furniture this substantial, with the acoustic engineering and finish quality Framery pods are known for, that turnaround surprised even us. The video condenses the full 1.5 hour build into just 2 minutes, from opening the box to the final details being checked off.
Watching Nev and Alan work through it, a few things stood out. The panels are designed to slot together with real precision, so there’s very little guesswork once you understand the sequence. It’s clear the engineering behind these pods extends well beyond the acoustic performance; the assembly process itself has been thought through carefully.
First Impressions
Once the build was complete, the difference between seeing a Framery pod in photos and standing inside one became obvious. The sound dampening is immediate. Step inside, close the door, and the noise of the showroom disappears. For anyone weighing up whether a pod like this is worth the investment for their own workplace, that’s the moment that tends to answer the question.
Why It Matters for Australian Workplaces
Open-plan offices solved one set of problems and created another. Noise, lack of privacy, and too few spaces for focused or informal work are common complaints. The Framery One Lounge offers a practical answer, a dedicated space that can be dropped into an existing office layout without construction or fit-out delays.
Being first to bring this particular model into Australia gives Envoy customers early access to a product that’s still uncommon in local workplaces. It also means our team has hands-on build experience we can pass on to anyone considering one for their own space, including realistic timelines, what installation involves, and what to expect once it’s in place.
See It for Yourself
The Framery One Lounge is now set up permanently at the Envoy Showroom in Rosebery, NSW. If you’re curious about how it looks, sounds, and feels in person, you’re welcome to visit and try it out. You can see the full range of Framery products across our showrooms nationwide.
