Bringing Private Couch Comfort to the Office: Introducing Framery One Lounge

Open-plan offices solved the space problem. They didn’t solve the privacy problem. That’s where Framery has built its reputation, and its newest release, the Framery One Lounge, takes the concept a step further by asking what a solo workspace could feel like if comfort was treated as seriously as acoustics.

Envoy is the Australian distributor for this specific model, bringing the Framery One Lounge to workplaces across Australia.

What Is the Framery One Lounge?

The Framery One Lounge is a new interior layout for the popular Framery One pod. Instead of the standard height-adjustable chair and desk setup, it swaps in a custom-built sofa, a padded footstool and a fixed-height table. Framery describes it as designed for extended comfort and focus, built for calls, concentrated work, or simply a moment to pause and reset during the day.

It launched globally in June 2025, debuting at NeoCon in Chicago, and now sits alongside the Framery One and Framery One Compact in the wider Framery One range.

Comfort Without Losing the Acoustics

The headline change is the seating. The elevated sofa and armrest are built to support natural posture and reduce strain over longer sessions, while the carpet-finished footstool adds a further layer of comfort, particularly useful in workplaces where people prefer to slip their shoes off during a break. The table keeps a fixed height by default, with a height-adjustable upgrade available for teams who want more flexibility.

Focus pods

None of that comfort comes at the expense of what Framery is known for. The pod carries an A-class, 30 dB speech level reduction rated to ISO 23351-1, the top rating available for office pods under that standard. So a private conversation stays private, even when the pod sits in a busy, high-traffic part of the office.

Built-In Technology

The Framery One Lounge carries over the smart features from the rest of the Framery One line:

Adaptive ventilation that continually refreshes the air inside the pod, keeping it comfortable during longer sessions.
Dual 4000K LED lighting with preset modes for video calls or focused work, plus manual adjustment.
Ultrasonic occupancy sensors that detect when someone enters or leaves, so lighting and ventilation respond automatically.
Side-mounted occupancy lights, so colleagues can see at a glance whether the pod is free.
Built-in 4G connectivity, enabling automatic over-the-air software updates without any manual intervention.
Integrated power, including a power outlet and USB-C charge port, with an optional LAN port for a wired connection.

Built to Last

Sustainability is baked into the manufacturing process rather than bolted on afterwards. Framery pods are produced using zero-emission electricity, with factory logistics running on biogas and renewable diesel. The pods are GREENGUARD Gold certified for indoor air quality, and Framery holds a Gold Medal EcoVadis sustainability rating, placing it among the top 5% of companies assessed. At end of life, the Framery One Lounge is 95% recyclable, and its modular construction means individual components can be serviced or replaced rather than requiring full replacement.

Where It Fits in the Office

The Framery One Lounge suits environments where people need somewhere private to land for a while, not just for a five-minute call. Think:

  • A quiet space for extended video meetings, where sofa seating beats a stool for a 45-minute session.
  • A recharge spot for staff who need a genuine break without leaving the building.
  • Flexible offices and hybrid workplaces that want to offer the comfort of working from home without losing the acoustic control of a dedicated pod.

Getting a Framery One Lounge in Australia

As the Australian distributor for this specific model, Envoy handles the full process locally, from specification and finish selection through to delivery and professional installation. The Framery One Lounge can be seen in person at Envoy’s showrooms in Brunswick (VIC), Rosebery (NSW) and Pinkenba (QLD), where teams can sit inside the pod and experience the acoustics and comfort firsthand before committing to a purchase.

For workplaces weighing up how to add genuine, bookable privacy without a construction project, the Framery One Lounge is worth a look, and worth testing in person.
